Camera angles
This post will be about camera angles.
For the first picture, you will learn about low angle.

Low angle is actually a shot that you took from your knee height. This shot is taken when making a horror movie and it make the person look more powerful.
Second picture, high angle.

High angle is taken from head height and the angle is shot downwards. High angle shots look more vulnerable and insignificant. The shot could make the character look more taller and powerful.
Lastly, deutsch angle.

Deutsch angle is taken by tilting the camera off to the side so that it will look more horizon at an angle to the bottom of the frame. The used of deutsch angle is certainly creates a specific mood.

Lastly, the meaning of aclose up shot is it will suggest power of the person in picture and also increase the intimacy between the person in picture and the viewer.
Angle Shots by Simin’s team
Dear MsLiow,
this is our shots. Enjoy!
Firstly, this is the low angle shot. It is like you are like a giant looking down on a small person, giving you a feeling of fear and the camera is positioned low on the vertical axis, often at knee height, looking up. This technique is sometimes used in scenes of confrontation to illustrate which character holds the higher position of power.
This shot is used sometimes in scenes of confrontation and fights to show which person has the higher power. The subject of a high angle shot looks vulnerable or insignificant; The picture looks very timid as well.
Now, is the Deutsch (Dutch) Angle Shot. It is like viewing half of the body, and it is just a normal shot.
Lastly, it is the Neutral Shot.
It is a little bit slanted, but giving the readers a boring kind of feeling. In stories and movies, this is little to be used.

Camera Angles by Mira’s Team
Greetings,
For this post, you would learn the different types of camera angles used for making a film, for example. So far, there are around four camera angles used. They are the “Low, High, Deutsch and Neutral” angle. It is important for us to learn the meanings of each angles.

To: Miss Liow,
We are terribly sorry for not being able to show you the pictures. The posting of this project was made repeatedly [viewing] the post but whenever we add in codes to show you the image, there is nothing to be found but “?” replacing the picture. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience!

Firstly: Deutsch
<a href=”http://img169.imageshack.us/my.php?image=botakzn3.jpg”><img src=”http://img169.imageshack.us/my.php?image=botakzn3.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”" width=”295″ height=”184″ /></a>[ This is where the camera is purposely tilted to one side so the horizon is on an angle. ]
The Deutsch angle creates an interesting and dramatic effect. Famous examples include Carol Reed’s The Third Man, Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane and the Batman series.
Secondly: Low Angle
[ This shows the subject from below. ]
The Low Angle shows the subject from below, giving them the impression of being more powerful or dominant. For example, a villain.
Thirdly: Neutral Angle
[ This is the most common view, being the real-world angle that we are all used to. ]
The Neutral Angle, shows subjects as we would expect to see them in real life. It can also shows the viewer a feeling or boredom.
Fourthly: High Angle
[ A high angle shows the subject from above, i.e. the camera is angled down towards the subject. ]
The High Angle has the effect of diminishing the subject, making them appear less powerful, less significant or even submissive.

Camera Angles from Peiwan’s Group
Greetings ,
We are going to introduce some camera shots to you today. Our group includes Sherlyn, Celine, Michelle, Shih Hui and Peiwan. Not all of our pictures are inside this post.
This is Sherlyn(Camera Man 1)
Her shot is Medium shot which captures the whole figure of the character.
This is Celine(Camera man2).
Her shot is deutsch angle. It gives no power to the character as it is slanted. It does not show any difference to normal pictures when shown to viewers.
These two pictures shows Michelle(IT Expert 1) and Shih Hui(IT Expert 2). These two pictures is an example of a close up shot. A closer shot may suggest the dominance and power of a character and may also increase the intimacy between the character and the viewer.

We have come to the end of the presentation about camera shots. We hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for your attention.
